Mens 1s secure another three points
The team travelled to Newbury on Saturday hoping to get back on the winning
trail following their defeat to Slough the week before.
Should have been easy - the travelling bit, that is. Just down the M4 a little bit, junction 12,
down the A4 a little bit, turn right, job done. "You have reached your destination", as Tom Tom might say.
Kingo decided to take a slightly different route, through the middle of Newbury on Hennessy Gold Cup Day, with
Gally in hot pursuit, obviously ignoring the warning sign.
DOTD decided and paid up before even arriving at the pitch - a first for Sonning.
Good job Gally was right behind to collect the fine.

As for the match, well it was fairly dull. 0-0 half time, 2-0 full time, a goal from the oldest and the
youngest member of the team. Well done to Painter and 12 year old Jimmy.
